50s Vintage Parfait Petticoats Floral Flocked Chocolate Crinolin
If you're into 50s vintage or retro reproductions, you know that having the right crinoline makes all the difference in the world when it comes to the finishing touch to your gorgeous dress! This sweet slip from Parfait Petticoats has a classic three tiered silhouette with the added bonus of flocking on the outer tricot layer. Tiny scattered polka dots and pink dogwood blossoms on sprays of green branches give an almost Japanese quality to the decorative floral pattern.
The color combo on this piece has a bit of a preppy, Lilly Pulitzer feel. Top layer is sheer chocolate brown nylon tricot with pink and green flocking, under layer is baby pink nylon woven tulle, both layers composed in three tiers for the perfect amount of fullness beneath dropped waist dresses and circle skirts. Cloth tag notes, "Parfait Petticoats by Anda-Parfait Nylon, S." Waist is 22" relaxed stretching up to 34", and 28" long at center back fitting 5'9" medium 28" waist as shown. Condition is excellent showing little wear and no abrasion to the flocking on the seat, elastic waist has perfect stretch and return.
