Vintage 40s nylon chiffon bias cut nightgown in black is a phenomenal piece from the past. The v- neck bodice is adorned with a sexy diamond shaped cut out just below the bust. The gown is detailed with a beautiful 2.5 inch wide Bemberg lace trim. A delicate silk satin ribbon is woven through the lace giving it very a old world antique French feel, highlighting the bodice cutout. The silk ribbon continues up through the straps over the shoulders and onto the back bodice. The bust is gathered lightly. The interior seams are pinked, the bias cut is finished with a godet inset at the hemline. Bust stretches 40 to 42 inches max, waist is 34 to 42 max, hip is 48 to 56 max, hem length from top of the side seam is 50 inches.
