A very unique and rare 1920s nightgown made of silk satin in a creamy pink color with exquisite embroidered lace on fine mesh netting. The lace is extremely soft, made of a cotton and linen blend thread, the embroidery is so delicate, adorning the neckline, arm holes, and with a deep row all the way around the bottom hemline. There is also a very unusual tiny lace pocket at the right hip. A small self fabric ribbon is attached at the side shoulder seam. Silk fabric is in mint condition, with no weaknesses. Lace is more delicate. Absolutely wearable but not recommended to sleep in. Add a loose belt and this would make an amazing cocktail gown for a roaring 20s party, or top it with a lace jacket for a romantic vintage wedding ensemble.
