This genuine vintage showgirl costume is a roaring 20s original. The contrasting black and pink combination is a playful ensemble with theatrical details that make it ideal for the modern burlesque actress or pin up girl looking for an authentic vintage get up. Shimmery pink bralette is designed with a center dart along the neckline and is complete with
silk satin ribbon straps. Top secures in the back with a single hook and eye clasp attached to a thin strip of elastic. The darling apron skirt is the real selling point of the outfit. Tiers of sheer black silk crepe ruffle are glammed up with rhinestone studs and the style ties flirtatiously in the back.
Bra measures 28 unstretched along the bust with a maximum of 36, skirt measures 28 along the crepe waist not including the two 10 inch ribbon ties and is 13 in length. Set is made to fit a size XS/32 or S/34 as photographed. The garments are in good, wearable condition. They were worn by dancers in the 20s and although signs of wear and repair are visible both pieces are without major flaws, the skirt maintains all the original rhinestones however the bra has faint stains under the arms.
