There is something so special about
silk crepe, its crisp delicacy and ethereal sheer quality are unlike anything else, and this vintage ecru peignoir illustrates the romantic lightness of this particular fabric. Classic 30s style has a deep V neck bodice trimmed with lovely ecru lace along the collar. Matching lace inserts define the fitted waist that secures with three flower shaped mother of pearl buttons. Long sleeves are constructed with puff shoulders and cinch at the lace ruffled wrist with mother of pearl buttons. Skirt is gathered under the waist for fullness and finished with a rolled hem. Original tag reads, "Skylon Tailored by Nu-Fashion." Shoulders measure 15, bust 36, waist 28, hips free, 51 in length from back of neck to bottom hem. Fits a XS/32 or a S/34 as shown. Garment is in very good to excellent condition, the only flaws being a hand full of small rust spots from storage. See photos for detail.
