silk night gown from the 30s has sweet details and a romantic shape. Scoop neckline has a ruffled Swiss dot mesh collar and matching flounce sleeves trimmed with lace. Front seams and decorative geometric stitching along the front as well as a the original ribbon rosette bouquet add distinct charm. Empire waist sits slightly above the natural waist and secures with vintage grosgrain dusty green ribbon. Ankle length bias cut skirt fits beautifully and flutters with movement. Garment is in good to very good condition, portions of the bodice have been reinforced with fusible lining, there are some weak areas. Recommended for photoshoot, display or gentle daywear only. Measures 38 at the bust, 30 waist, hips 46, 44 in length along side seam. Fits a petite S/34 as shown.
