New Old Stock 30s peach silk habotai is crisp and smooth and in perfect shape. V-neck top has an ecru lace collar and lace trimmed arm holes. The loose design is given shape with the satin ribbon waist tie, fixed to the piece at the side and embellished with lace decals. The style is sewn with seams up the back, rather than at the sides, giving it a lovely vintage structure. Harem style pants have wide legs with lace trimmed gores and a three inch wide lace hem. Bottoms are sewn with the seam up the back, in the same manner as the chemise. Waist band has encased elastic along the back for ease in fit and wear. Garment is in mint condition without any flaws, original tag reads, "This Garment Guaranteed Pure Silk, Pure Dye." Top measures 44 at bust and waist, 17 along side under arm to bottom hem. Pants measure 30 at the waist with a max stretch of 38, hips are loose at 50, inseam with dropped crotch 22, outseam 39. Fitting a size S/34 as shown, cut for a 38/L.
