A striking Art Deco creation, this luxuriously rich black silk velvet peignoir is a one of a kind with exquisitely styled features like fluttery butterfly sleeves, shirring at the shoulder edge, and a top stitched peaked collar that make it the ultimate in boudoir vamp attire. A rare beauty, the style has an exquisite fit and incredible movement over the body. Cinch the fly-away front at the waist and neck with hidden hook and eye clasps, then proceed to stalk. The gown could easily transform into a decadent evening overcoat, or formal attire when paired with a simple bias cut sheath in white or ivory. Garment is in excellent condition with small and insignificant minor signs of wear, the interior of the left sleeve shows a deftly executed seam repair. Shoulders measure 12 1/2,  waist 30, bust 38. Length is 58 inches from center back collar to bottom hem, sweep is 100. Fits a 36 medium or 34 small as shown.
