This beautiful
new old stock piece from the 20s is a darling variation on the cami-knicker style popular during the time. Crisp pink China
silk is designed with a rounded hem and has lovely lace details. Straight neckline is trimmed with one inch wide ecru embroidered lace that ties with a matching pink silk ribbon drawstring below the left strap, and a unique geometric lace detail is sewn on at the front center bust. A thin strip of lace defines the underbust all the way around the garment, with a bow at the front center. High cut and rounded leg holes are trimmed with 2 1/2 inches of lace, matching the swatch sewn at the center bust. Straps are fabricated from a shimmery pink silk ribbon and measure 14 inches in length. The garment is in pristine condition, lacking any flaws and measures 38 at both the bust and waist, 25 inches in length from neckline to crotch. The style is designed to hang loosely underneath flapper style dresses. Original paper tag, 38. Fits a small 34 as shown, 36 medium, and up to 38 large when the hip size is also no more than 38. This is a step in chemise and there is no button provision at the crotch gusset for putting the garment on over the head.
