Truly an exquisite piece, this vintage 20s robe is absolutely gorgeous, combining artful design and artisan construction with luscious materials for the ultimate in glamour. Buttery charmeuse silk is impeccably cut and hangs ever so elegantly. Rounded collar is dressed up with multiple rows of fagotting matching the hand sewn pocket with embroidered initials "RDH." Dropped bell sleeves are hand finished with rolled hems and the bottom hem is entirely done by hand in this couture piece. Fastens with interior, self-fabric string ties and an exterior self-fabric button. Shoulders measure 15, waist 36 when buttoned and is 54 inches in length from back collar to hem. Robe is in near mint condition with the only visible signs of wear being a slight abrasion of the silk on and near the button, as seen in photos. Fits a size small as shown, and might best suit a medium or large to a bust size of 38. Cloth tag reads, "Emma A. Maloof, 444 Madison Ave New York."
