40s Vintage Lustrous Longline Satin Bra

This longline vintage bra is made of radiant rayon satin and features brilliant construction techniques that highlight the quality of the item. Tailored bodice is shaped with a wide dart and finished with beautiful embroidered lace. Reinforced underbust and side seams provide support, and the back features gores that give flexibility without the help of stretch fabrics or control meshes. Satin straps are strengthened with seam binding and the bra features a loop at the center of the front hem designed to hook to a vintage girdle. Closes with five button and elastic hoops(two buttons have been replaced) giving the bra slight stretch capacity. Pristine style features two 3/4 inch hems along the sides of the garment which can be let out to provide room for alteration. Garment is in mint new old stock condition, the satin is crisp as if it has never been worn or washed. Bust measures 36 inches max, under bust 33, waist 32. Fits 36C or 34D as shown.
