General Policy


Order Fulfillment

By submitting your order, you confirm that all the information provided during the checkout process is correct. Orders will be filled based on item availability at the time of order processing. In the event that we are unable to provide the requested items, your payment, including shipping costs and CA sales tax (if applicable) will be reduced accordingly. It is possible that a unique vintage item also available in our shop may sell to a customer in store within the same time that you are placing your order on our web site. In cases such as this our shop orders will take precedence over web orders. We update our inventory every 24 hours and make every effort to always have accurate in stock quantities reflected on our web site.

Back Order Fulfillment

Dollhouse Bettie ships all orders complete. We hold all available in stock items on your order until every item has arrived at our facility. Once all items are in stock your order will be processed and shipped. If within 30 days we are unable to fill your order you will have the option to cancel with no charge or any further obligation.

State Sales Taxes

All orders shipped within California are subject to state sales tax.

Order Processing Time

Orders are shipped within 2 business days, barring unusual circumstances, acts of God, or events out of the control of Dollhouse Bettie. Express orders are shipped within 2 business days. Selecting an express delivery method does not affect the order processing time. Orders placed during Dollhouse Bettie Holidays will be processed the next active business day.

Expedited Order Processing

If you need Expedited Order Processing the same day you may either submit an inquiry through our Ticket system, or call our store during regular business hours to find out if same day processing is available, and what additional charges may be incurred.
 
Shipping Methods

Dollhouse Bettie reserves the right to substitute a different shipping method or carrier on all Free Shipping orders. To qualify for Free Domestic Shipping, an order must contain $100 worth of merchandise after all discounts have been applied. To qualify for Free International Shipping, an order must contain $200 worth of merchandise after all discounts have been applied.

Tracking numbers, Delivery Confirmation numbers and Customs Declaration numbers are provided when available.
 
When you select In Store Pickup as your shipping method, your credit card will be charged at the time your order is placed in our Will Call in store. Should you need to exchange or return an item that was delivered as an In Store Pickup, customers must request an RA via our Ticket system. Simply reply to either your order confirmation or shipping notice email. Items purchased online must be exchanged via the online procedure and may not be brought to our retail location for processing. We appreciate our local customer's adherence to this policy. 
 
International Shipping
 
For International Shipping, The Customs Declaration Number can be used to determine whether your package has arrived at your country's Customs Clearance facility. You must contact your local Customs office for details regarding the status of the clearance of your parcel through the Customs stream. A Customs Declaration Number is not a tracking number and does not provide tracking of your package while in transit. Note that all international shipments may be subject to Customs examination in the destination country, and that all Customs duties, levies or taxes are the responsibility of the receiving party. 
 
Privacy

We will never share your information with a third party. Your privacy is assured and respected at all times and in every aspect of our process. 

Coupons

Dollhouse Bettie coupons may not be combined. Dollhouse Bettie discount coupons do not apply to shipping fees or sale taxes. Dollhouse Bettie reserves the right to cancel any order placed with a coupon that is expired or fraudulent. All items purchased using a "Final Sale Discount" coupon are Final Sales.

Gift Certificates

Dollhouse Bettie Gift Certificates never expire.

Dollhouse Bettie Online Gift Certificates can be redeemed online exclusively at www.dollhousebettie.com. Online Gift Certificates can not be converted to In-Store Gift Certificates.

Dollhouse Bettie In-Store Gift Certificates can be redeemed at 1641 Haight Street, San Francisco, CA 94117 during regular business hours. In-Store Gift Certificates can not be converted to Online Gift Certificates.

When available, Gift Certificates ship with delivery confirmation. Lost or damaged Gift Certificates will not be replaced.

Dollhouse Bettie Online Gift Certificates may not be combined. Dollhouse Bettie Gift Certificates may not apply to shipping fees or sale taxes. Dollhouse Bettie reserves the right to cancel any order placed with an Online Gift Certificate suspected of fraud.

Photo & Media Copyright Infringement

All photographs, prints, CD's, postcards, and other media produced by Dollhouse Bettie are subject to U.S. copyright laws. Any person or entity found to be utilizing unauthorized copies of digital images which are the sole property of Dollhouse Bettie will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Images from our web site may not be copied, reproduced, sold, modified, or posted to other web sites without the express permission of Dollhouse Bettie.


Sale and Return Policy


Our web site Terms of Service online mirror our brick and mortar store policy. All vintage items are always a final sale, no exceptions. New items may be returned for web site account credit only. We do not issue cash or credit card refunds. Items purchased in store will receive store account credit. Items purchased online will receive web account credit. A Return Authorization must be acquired prior to sending your merchandise back to Dollhouse Bettie. Unauthorized returns will be discarded.

New Merchandise

If an item doesn't fit or you simply don't like it up close and in person, you may send it back for a credit to your in house web site account. We do not pay for your return postage when items are returned for fit or style issues. You must notify Dollhouse Bettie within 7 days of receipt of your merchandise and request a Return Authorization number. Unauthorized returns will be discarded. Goods must be received by Dollhouse Bettie in new condition, unworn, with all manufacturers tags attached, and within 10 days of receiving your Return Authorization. Dollhouse Bettie reserves the right to refuse the return of items that have been worn, have any odor, trace of perfume, deodorant, lotion, pet hair or show any other damage.

All panties are shipped with hygienic liners.Hosiery packages have a tamper evident seal. Once the seal is broken hosiery is not returnable.
 
Regarding molded cup bras; we take specific care to always box any molded bra for shipment, and request that you do the same when returning the item to us. Molded cup bras that are received crushed or damaged from return shipping will not be accepted for return credit. 
 
All Accessories are Final Sales. Accessories include, but are not limited to; hats, headbands, fascinators, fans, pasties,  boas, headdresses, boudoir kits, fashion tape, and play items. If you are unsure if an item is considered an accessory please contact Customer Support using the link provided in the item details page.
 
All Costumes are Final Sales.
 
ALL SALE AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS INCLUDING DAILY TEMPTATION ITEMS AND ITEMS PURCHASED USING A "FINAL SALE DISCOUNT" COUPON"  ARE ALWAYS A FINAL SALE. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES, NO STORE/WEB CREDIT.

To request a Return Authorization:

1) Contact Dollhouse Bettie Customer Support within 7 days of receiving your order and include your Order Number
2) Write the Return Authorization number on the outside of your package and on your packing slip
3) Include your packing slip inside the box
4) New merchandise may be sent back to Dollhouse Bettie for web credit only
5) Items must have the original tags attached, any items tampered with or obviously used will not be credited to your account
6) Allow up to 10 business days for return processing

Vintage Merchandise

As in our Haight St. store location ALL VINTAGE ITEMS ARE ALWAYS A FINAL SALE. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES, NO STORE/WEB CREDIT.

What if there is a flaw that wasn't mentioned?

Dollhouse Bettie strives to offer only the most unique and high quality vintage lingerie available. We make every effort to describe our merchandise accurately and completely. Because of the nature of vintage items, there are common issues that frequently arise. Most of these common issues are due to long term storage, and include such characteristics as storage dust, foxing and yellowing from age. If you are new to buying vintage, please feel free to email us regarding any of these common aspects of vintage goods. We generally do not attempt to alter the state of the item as it was found, since many collectors would rather have an item arrive dusty with the original tag, as this is part of the rarity and charm of the uniqueness of an item. One way of avoiding such issues is to sell only the best quality vintage merchandise. On the rare occasion that we do offer an item with a flaw it will be summarily detailed in the item description and photographed if possible. In the rare case that Dollhouse Bettie should grossly misrepresent a vintage item, please contact Dollhouse Bettie Customer Support within 24 hours of receiving your order.

What if it doesn't fit?

We offer extensive finished garment measurements to allow you to assess the fit of each of our vintage garments. You must compare these measurements with a similar garment you already own, as we do not accept vintage item returns for fit issues.

What if I just don't like it?

Please make sure you absolutely love the vintage garment before you purchase, as we do not accept vintage item returns due to buyers remorse.

Gift Certificates

All Gift Certificates are final sale. Lost or damaged Gift Certificates will not be replaced.
