40s Vintage Sheer Nylon Chiffon Nightgown

This New Old Stock vintage negligee is the perfect gown for the sexy sophisticate. The risque style is designed with an ultra sheer bodice and black floral lace, oozing femme fatale glamour. Square neck line has a stretch lace ruffle at the front and three inch keyhole cut out in the back, allowing ease for a more comfortable fit. Fluttering straps are constructed of a matching lace and reinforced with a mesh edge. This vintage design features a unique lace waist that's rounded at the front and drops in the rear for a flattering fit different from gowns with straight waist lines. Full skirt is fabricated from a woven nylon chiffon and is gathered along the waist for a sensual drape. A baby blue satin ribbon is threaded through the lace waist panel, tying at the front to ensure a proper fit and provide striking contrast to the black fabric. Gown measures a maximum of 42 across the bust, waist up to 34 untied,  52 at the hip, 49 in length along the side seam. Original paper tag reads, "36" and fits a size 36/M as tagged or 34 small as shown. Garment is in Mint, new old stock condition.
