Lemon chiffon rayon will feel cool and smooth to the touch when you wear this lovely vintage 40s bias gown. Simple gathered v-neck bodice is dressed up with shimmering chiffon leaves that frame the face and subtly shimmer with embroidered high gloss satin floss. Fullness is created with a tulle mesh chiffon ruffle gracing the bust line, and bodice is finished with gathered cap sleeves and coordinating scalloped chiffon trim cuffs. A set in self fabric waist band defines the mid section, opening to a bias cut skirt that flows to the mid calf. Garment is in near mint condition showing little to no wear. There is a very faint flaw in the weave of the fabric at the back v-neck, nothing that would detract from the beauty of quality. Gown measures 40 at the bust, 32 at the underbust, 15 at the shoulder, fitting a size S/34 as shown and up to L/38.
