40s Vintage Satin & Chiffon Peignoir Set

A very romantic two piece vintage 40s nightgown and peignoir, with elegant shirred bodice and lace details. The nightgown has an asymmetrical neckline, trimmed with embroidered lace, the bodice is shirred and fits a range of bust sizes up to 38. Below the bodice the gown flows in a bias cut satin fabric that is a silk and rayon blend. The shirred part of the bodice is made of woven sheer nylon chiffon. The peignoir is shirred at the shoulder, and has a demure high neckline with a small tie, it flows and billows from there, the sleeve is full and gathered at the cuff. Best fit is for a taller, 5'7 to 5'10 size medium or large, bust of 36 to 38, hip to 42.
