30s Vintage RH Stearns Silk Satin Peignoir & Gown

Impeccable, in mint condition, this vintage 30s bias cut silk gown and sweeping peignoir may be one of the loveliest I've had the opportunity to offer. The deep dusty rose color is not at all your standard peach, but a much richer and more feminine tone of pink. The silk fabric is of a medium weight, and has that crisp, unwashed feel of new silk that is so common with deadstock vintage items. The lace is pristine, everything about this set is immaculate. The peignoir has fantastic styling with Cinderella puffed sleeves and giant bow detail at the back waist. Cloth tag reads RH Stearns Co, Boston. Gown measures 42 at the bust, bias waist expands to 34, peignoir measures 44 at the bust, buttoned waist is 32, peignoir shoulder is 15, length is 60.
