We got our hands on a cache of incredible
New Old Stock bras from the 1910's. These Edwardian-era beauties are genuine vintage and for the first time are available for sale after being stored for years. Pink cotton jacquard has a glossy floral pattern and is constructed with simple tucks at the sides and small darts along the top to create depth without separate cups. Picot lace trimmed neckline sits straight across the chest and has decorative ribbon straps. The thick band is reinforced with spiral steel demi-boning under the arms, has an inch and a half elastic insert in the rear and secures with one setting of four hooks and eyes. All edges are reinforced with cotton seam binding. A cotton tab with metal hook clasp is sewn to the inside of the center front underbust. This tab, originally designed to connect the
bra to a matching
girdle for an all-in-one style foundation set, can easily be tucked under when worn alone as seen in the photo.
Bra measures 34-36 inches across the bust, 30-32 underbust fitting S/34 as shown and intended for a full bust measurement of 36 inches. Original tag reads, "36." Garment is in pristine
new old stock condition, without flaws.
