50s Vintage Evette Crystal Pleated Chiffon Nightgown

This vintage ice blue nightgown is a special piece. Fabricated with DuPont nylon this early 50s style was one of the first to have the exquisite crystal pleating indicative of the era. Delightful silver lace collar has ruffle details and a deep scoop back. Fitted waist is fashioned from a peaked inset lace waistband and has elastic along the back for stretch with fit. Full skirt is stunningly sheer and a simple lace trim finishes the bottom hem. Bust is designed to be ample and measures 36, 26-28 waist, hips free, 46 in length along side seam, fitting a size XS/32 or S/34 as shown. Original tag reads, "Evette, 32". Garment is in excellent condition, without flaws or signs of wear.
