The ivory acetate
rayon satin of this late 40s Stardust
bra shimmers with brilliance. Strapless style is constructed with hoirzontal seams and vertical boning cleverly placed along the center gore, cups, and side seams creating the pert bullet shape typical of the era. Decorative scalloped blanket stitching adorns the peaked neckline. Elastic band has maintained excellent spring and secures with two settings of two hook and eyes in the center back. Item still has original paper tag from the Stardust manufacturer. Cloth tags read, "Stardust, 36B."
Bra measures along the underbust 30 unstretched with a max of 36, bust 40 fitting a modern size 34DD, 36D, or 38C. We also have the same
bra in size 34A available, measuring 26 at the unstretched underbust with a max of 34, bust is 36. Best fitting a modern size 32C/D, 34B/C. Garments are in mint condition, unworn and without flaws.
