50s Vintage Joan Browne Ruched Babydoll

This vintage chiffon confection is a sophisticated version of the girly babydoll. Sheer black chiffon lays over pale pink tricot and is ruched at the front for a dramatic shadow effect. Black lace over pink ribbons along the sweetheart bodice continue up and over the shoulder for a glamorous look. The back of the bodice is fashioned from a single layer of pink tricot creating striking contrast. Style secures with a pink satin ribbon belt. Original tag reads, "Joanne Brown 34." Garment is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear and no flaws, it has been altered in length. Measures 36 at the bust, 28 waist and is 24 in length along the side seam fitting a size 34 small as shown.
