50s Vintage Luxite Double Chiffon Nightgown

Lovely vintage Hollywood goddess nightgown is a rare piece. Floor length design has unique two tone double chiffon layers, pale pink falls underneath the light blue exterior, lending iridescence and depth. V neck bodice has gathered cups and a scooped back dressed up with braided straps. Fitted waist has a matching braided belt that ties in the back. Full skirt is cut with a wide sweep accentuating the pastel sunrise shades of the light chiffon. Floral decals lit up with rhinestones adorn the bodice and the front of the skirt for additional charm. Measures 28 at the waist, 47 in length along the side seam. Outer blue layer has a sweep of 140, with the pink underneath cut slightly smaller creating breathtaking volume and drape. Fits a 34 small as shown, bodice will fit up to a 34C/D cup. Garment is in near mint condition showing only minor signs of wear. All rhinestones still present. Original tag reads, "Luxite by Holeproof, 34."
