An unusual early vintage 50s
slip from Durelle, this beauty has lovely bodice and hemline detailing with gathered chiffon over lace, appliques, and an asymmetrical ruffled hemline. Straps are adjustable, and I'm confident this was intended as a
slip rather than sleepwear, but it's beautiful enough for use as a nightgown. Nylon tricot exclusive of trim, cloth tag reads Durelle Nylon Lingerie, condition is excellent, very little wear showing. There is no size indicated but the fit seems to be true to a classic medium with a bust of 36, and up to 38 inches max.
