40s Vintage Nu Fit Petel Satin & Mesh Bias Slip

Highlighted with decorative feminine details throughout, this rayon satin slip has an innocent air about it hard not to love. An ecru mesh insert rests between the cups of the bodice and the scalloped embroidered trim along the v-shaped neckline. The cups are adorned with swirling embroidered vines and flowers, while small mesh inserts let a little bit of skin peek through. Cups are gathered to give you fullness above the peaked waist line. The bias cut skirt cascades gently over your curves in a very adorable manner. Circling the bottom hemline, coordinating satin ruffles and embroidered details on both sides of a wavy mesh insert give this piece a spectacular panache. Original interior fabric tag reads, "Nu-Fit REG," and original paper size tag reads, " RAYON NO. 7700 SIZE 36." This slip measures 34 inches in length down side seam. Bust is 38, waist up to 32, and hip up to 40, fitting M/36 as shown. This item is in near mint new old stock condition with water marks throughout and small breaks in the mesh around bottom hemline, seen only with close inspection.
